Last spring brought us BOFA DC (Best of Fine Arts) Inaugural Awards Gala.

It was a huge success and we were able to honor some of the most creative

people in our city. The night was filled with honoring four outstanding

citizens in our area – Lilian Thomas Burwell, Marcus Johnson, Tim Tate and

Tommy Duren. Our featured artist, Michael Platt, as always, inspired us with

his exceptional and marvelous artwork. I would like to express my sincere

thanks to each and every one of them for their wonderful contribution to our

city. I would also like to thank our staff, our guests and the National Music

Center for helping to make this a huge success..
